The course Strategic Logistics Management deals with the function, conception and trends of logistics and presents them in models of logistics management. The contribution of logistics to corporate success is shown. The lecture also focuses on topics relevant to logistics management, such as strategic logistics planning, logistics controlling, structural and process organisation of logistics, model-based decision-making and relationship and cooperation management.

After successfully completing the course, students will have a basic understanding of strategic planning, controlling and the organisational integration of logistics in companies.
