Congratulations to “Dr.” Ruben Tessmann for his successful disputation!

On December 4, 2024, Ruben Tessmann successfully defended his dissertation! Under the title “Community Systems – Digital Platforms in Transshipment Hubs”, he has submitted an impressive thesis that is academically convincing and makes a practical contribution to a central topic of digital transformation in logistics.
In recent years, Ruben has conducted research on topics such as multi-sided platforms, IoIS adoption and standardization in digital B2B ecosystems. He has addressed key questions on business models for port and cargo community systems, their future role in the transport chain and the development of international platform standards.
