The module provides in-depth knowledge of traffic and transport logistics as well as problem-solving skills for logistical problems and questions of freight transportation. Among other things, the individual modes of transport (road, rail, water, air) with their advantages and disadvantages as well as their suitability for certain logistical requirements are covered.

  • The modules Intermodal Transport Services (3 CP) and Logistics and Transport in Practice (3 CP) result in 6 CP.
  • To complete the module, finishing and passing the course examinations (lecture & application-oriented course) is mandatory.
  • It is possible to complete the lecture and the course work across semesters.
  • Please note the instructions for registration concerning Logistics and Transport in Practice in order to be registered for the examination and to obtain a place in your desired course.

The module grade is not based on the CP number, but on the scheduled semester hours of the individual courses. Please refer to the module handbook of your study program.
