In addition to our internal research partners, our department also works regularly with partners from industry, whether in the form of cooperative research projects or expert panels and project-related committees. The cooperation institute with Deutsche Bahn, the "Research Lab Innovative Freight Wagon m²", which has been in existence since 2012 and underwent a name-change in 2021, is particularly noteworthy in this respect, where a large number of joint research projects have been successfully completed.
