The project aims to examine the possibilities of establishing a traffic engineering cluster in Hesse and to make recommendations for action for the establishment of a traffic engineering cluster. Based on state-wide expert interviews and workshops with companies in the various business fields of traffic engineering, the prerequisites for an ITS Hesse are analyzed. A systematic presentation of the traffic engineering companies located in the state of Hesse is contained in the “Kompetenzatlas Verkehrstechnik”.
