Dynamo PLV
Dynamic and Seamless Integration of Production, Logistics and Transport

The research project “Dynamo PLV" is supported as a LOEWE priority funding project under the Hessian fund LOEWE (Landes-Offensive zur Entwicklung Wissenschaftlich-ökonomischer Exzellenz). The partners involved are the Technische Universität Darmstadt and the European Business School, EBS.

The aim is to overcome boundaries faced by value-added systems, due to developments such as globalization, urbanization and increasing volatility. In the future, integrated value-added networks will determine the competitiveness of industrial locations, which, in turn, will require a comprehensive optimization of the subsystems production, logistics and transport. The seamless investigation of these sub-disciplines is thus necessary to create a knowledge base for an integrated, global optimum.

This research will provide methods and tools to the economy and to politics that will enable decisions to be made about the seamless design of goods and information flows in production, logistics and transport.
